As the many posters have said, an lot can happen in a year. As you get close to that point, an airline you might consider that was not on your list is PSA. The only reason I say this, is you mentioned you wanted to be home often. With our current scheduling system we have a tool called SAP (schedule adjustment period), which basically let's you tailor your schedule to your liking. If you want weekends off you can do that. If you want to be home more, adjust your schedule to fly the minimum amount of hours (65 is the minimum) in the least amount of days. It's possible to get 18 days or more off. Again, anything can happen in a year, and our SAP is currently being considered in negotiations in the future for other QOL enhancements. Good luck with your choice.
