My personal opinion:

NO GLOBE!
NO TULIP!

We need a truly new livery and branding concept for our airline that looks forward, not backward. There are roughly equal thirds pre-merger UAL, pre-merger CAL and post-merger hires. The latter are certainly not tied to any past livery/branding from either side. So it should be a new concept that represents all of our pilots.

Admittedly, it's highly unlikely (i.e. next to zero chance) that the name of our company is going to change so those holding onto the L-CAL past are just going to have to accept that "UNITED" will be the brand name going forward because it is recognized at this point. Wouldn't expect any corporate name change to "North Star" or "Global Airways" or what have you. But, it's not unrealistic to expect a completely new livery design that resembles nothing of the previous carriers. This is my personal hope as even before the merger the L-CAL livery was tired and in need of an update.

Just one pilot's personal opinion whose main concern is a stable company passengers want to fly and where I am paid what I am worth/negotiate, on-time and correctly.
