Contract, I know. But simplicity which are beneficial to both pilots & company produces virtues and value.
I asked the same thing, apparently the return on investment for the company has never been there for what we pilots wanted to be dual qual.
Besides, the company needs more pilots without dual qual which helps us negotiate higher rates. The company has always thought this place would have a line waiting out the door, so we just keep letting them fail and paying us more.
