Thanks for the reply, but my SI specifically requires three items that must be satisfied in order to continue:

1. Certification from me that treatment is effective and I am symptom-free.
2. Computer printouts for 12 months that show compliance (hrs/day usage).
3. Certification from "treating physician" that I am compliant and the treatment is effective and I am symptom-free.

The problem is that my sleep doc refuses to write a letter (#3) without a MWT test. She knows the FAA doesn't require it but she says she does.
My question to all those out there with a Sleep apnea SI is- Do your sleep docs require a MWT? I'm going to start shopping for a new Sleep doc if there are some out there that don't require it. I'm just trying to figure out if this is common or I just happened to pick a strange one. Thanks
