Day two, Fly, swap, fly, swap, "excuse me Captain, but the pax in 14B is threatening to drop trou and crap in the aisle"......fly, sit, swap, fly. "Welcome to the Radisson Capt!" You have 12.3 hours to unwind and fill out FSAPs.
Day three. Fly, have airplane handed to you at 100 knots with the reverses open, auto brakes still engaged, sit, swap and wind up at the hotel by noon. Go back to drome at 2100 and fly Red-eye to EWR.......

All in good fun Sunvox! Enjoy the left seat of the Bus. It's EASY! V1, Vr, Rotate, Gear up, Push "Take me to LA" button, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
R u trying to scare me? 'Cuz yur doin' a great job.
Got a call last night from another friend who is a 737 Cap in IAD. He told me stories that made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Between that and what you have to say, I'm beginning to question my decision, JK
but, I AM hoping it will be a short lived stay on the Bus and that a EWR756 vacancy will come down the pike in under a year then I really will be able to T/O and hit the "take me to LA" button. Plus I'm hoping with 31% seniority I'll be able to hold a few of the nicer 1 leg to PHX or SEA trips.
Honestly though the single biggest factor is night flying. I have found that the Asia and Europe all night flying is just too hard for my body. I am amazed at the guys that seem to bounce back and forth and can live on a 6 hour nap on the plane, but me personally I don't care if I'm sleeping in DSM or DEL; I just want to sleep during "normal" hours for the rest of my career.
Nice plane you had their James
