A restraining order is very different than a protective order. It is common for folks to call a PO an RO, usually protective orders are for domestic violence.

For either to be ordered by a judge there has to be a justifiable reason and there is no means of filing it ex-parte (without you getting a chance to show up and give testimony) unless it was an extreme case of potential violence or abuse... so not this case.

Don't talk to them. If they mess with you, record it...
