Hello-
I have a crazy neighbor threatening to file a temporary restraining order against my wife and I. We had an argument about where we park our car. Anyway, there where no threats and we just basically just told her to stay on her property.
Anyway, if she files it and the judge grants it, it will stay on my record as a civil case. My question is will it affect me being hired by an airline? I have no criminal record, no tickets, no dui.
Thank you for your time.

I don’t know all the particulars, but I wouldn’t sit back & let things happen, get ahead of the crazy neighbor.
1st off, mind your P&Q’s with the property line, then start a paper trail on her shenanigans and threats. I’ve known people to set up surveillance cameras on the property line. If she shows up for the fight with a knife, you take a bazooka(figuratively speaking of course).
As a friend often says, ‘two can play that game’.

Be proactive and stay ahead in the game.
Ask other neighbors if they’ve had trouble with her also.
Did you just recently move there?
You the odd one out?
Hillbilly neighborhood?
You renting or is this your dream home?
Different tactics.
Ask yourself, are you or is she legally or emotionally in the right?
Those two are not always the same.

Any sort of legal entanglements can be a problem for majors.
About the only thing they would understand is getting sued for a car accident. Any other legal entanglements would raise doubts about your character and temperament.
I would even avoid filling any sort of legal action if you aspire to majors. If you have to, fine, but don't do it lightly. Nobody wants litiginious employees, I wouldn't if I was hiring people.
From personal experience, better to move than deal with neighbors like that. Others are telling you to engage aggressively, but you're probably the only party involved who stands to lose out if public records are generated.

A restraining order is very different than a protective order. It is common for folks to call a PO an RO, usually protective orders are for domestic violence.
For either to be ordered by a judge there has to be a justifiable reason and there is no means of filing it ex-parte (without you getting a chance to show up and give testimony) unless it was an extreme case of potential violence or abuse... so not this case.
Don't talk to them. If they mess with you, record it...
