Exactly. And yes, ropestart. The painful thing was there would be a 747-400 taking off 2 hours later, same route with 3 pilots and they each got about a 3 hr nap.

Didn't really matter though, I got to fly and land every other leg and flew mostly with Pan Am dudes...

It really was a great time in my career that I still feel fortunate to have experienced.
