Oh my that’s brutal.
That reminds me of a World Airways mishap in BWI. It occurred after a 10+ hr flt in a DC-10. An all nighter across the pond, the capt was basically in a daze on final and planted it in so hard it sent FAs to the hospital. I don’t think that aircraft flew again.
