You can get pretty much anything within a few months base wise except SLC/IAH/SAN/BOI/FAT/PHX those will take longer. If you want SAN/BOI, ERJ is the only option. If you want IAH/DTW/MSP/ATL/SLC/COS/TUS/PSP/PHX, CRJ is your only option. Upgrade time is irrelevant of airframe, you can upgrade into another, however you will get your 1000 121 time faster on CRJ. You will sit reserve longer on ERJ. ERJ schedules are better by a small margin. Do not choose the ERJ for VNAV and A/T's.
