You indeed are the vacation Jedi, JB.

I just figured this one out b/c I had a 73 hour trip that was to be dropped if I didn't slide. I attempted to waive the 48 hour buffer (what I thought was dropping the trip) and it wouldn't allow me to, saying that the buffer is only for reserve and secondary lines. Therefore, I slid it.

Truth is, that 48 hour buffer is the international duty free buffer, not the vacation buffer.

Either way, our Vacation system is top notch and I'm glad I could keep that trip without going massively into vacation debt.
