Republic pilots told me the same. Except Republic pilots earn straight time when flying the additional and Republic pockets the premium.
United certainly could, within the CBA agreement, take Ejets back or cancel flying. However, the extra planes we got last year were ones that Republic couldn’t handle. And, we bought the Ejets so United would have to take the older ones back that they own.
