I fly almost 100% nights and with a large cargo can full of nasty HAZMAT on nearly every flight. Oh not to mention the radioactive, biohazard, and explosives in the back. Im not sure my compensation is all that great in the grand scheme of things. Our 757 pay rate sucks.
Concur with the 757 pay rate sucking. However, why not bid the bus? You could be pretty senior, holding day trips with your seniority. Even the MD-11 or 767 could be pretty good for you. You could probably bid junior widebody captain next bid and hold it if you wanted. Get off the 757!
