CAL has notified XJT that they will be removing 69 CAL-owned ERJ from XJT and re-assigning them to a cheaper regional (exactly who has not been determined yet). This is slated to begin in Jan 2007.

XJT has the right to keep the jets if they can find gainful employment for them (which is entirely possible), or maybe XJT and CAL will work something out...

Worst case, they lose a large percentage of their fleet in 9 months, and furlough a whole bunch of folks. No way to know for sure...do you feel lucky?
