Most of us upgraded or re-upgraded just prior to, or at the same time as most of the ETD folks. That being said, we are all well past the 2 years of captain time required. At this point, we are waiting for the SSP to end, but the company has not given us any indication of how or when the DGI interviews will begin.
Another question many of us have is whether we will have to wait for the ETD folks to move on. There are not a lot of them, but some held off on upgrade for a while, which would potentially push us back further.
My impression was the DGI interviews are supposed to be starting once the last SSP pilots move on since DGI movement won't be metered after interview. There should only be a couple ETD guys anyway, I was thinking 6 or less.
I didn't realize RTW pilots got to count previous time for the requirements so didn't think anyone would be at the 2 years before it became a factor anyway.
