I bought some waterproof shoes from Red Wing and have been very happy with them. It sucks having to take them and all your winter gear off going through security but welcome to winter ops. Yet another good reason to be an FFDO ;-) Side note has anyone seen the Air Canada crew winter jackets? Fur lined parkas I'd love to have one of those on a DVL highspeed. It's bitter cold out there. FO's get yourself something that covers you face to. Those winds cut like knives. Also I like/use the mittens that flip open so you can use your fingers. I got a good pair at REI. Long underwear is good to. Did I mention it's cold in the SAAB? ;-) You'll look back on these years and smile. The flying is tough and brutal, but the crews work through it together and you'll have great memories from it.
