I just got hired at XJT. So far I have nothing to complain about. I am a bit worried about the 69 jets, but after looking through some of the companies history, and talking to long time XJT pilots, I think that management here is really looking out for its employees. During you interview you can just be calm and be personable. Read the inteview gouges at whatever gouge site you find. Don't be intimidated by the Mexican approach plates they show you, just read em' before you answer. The training is top notch, the planes are the best maintained in the industry, and the destinations are numerous (150 comes to mind). That means you wont get bored flying the same route over and over. You get to go to Mexico, Canada, the Bahamas, and all over the US. XJT is by no means a "regional" airline...we go to more destinations domestically than Continental! Good luck on the interview!
