I am in a similar position. Have my PPL, start instrument in March, should be a CFI in the fall.
I have looked at the cadet programs and they all want a commitment without offering much more than seniority- and the seniority is not even the right type of seniority from what I have been told.
Any money they give for training seems to be subtracted from the hiring bonus you would get anyways. I was going to consider it when I get past CFI when I have some more leverage on my end.... the only leverage is being close in time to fill the seat the regionals need filled.
