We have FOQA. I’m surprised at some of the times they haven’t called. And one time they called and the FO and I had no clue what they were after. I happened to call back and a different ‘gatekeeper’ (union pilot reviewer) said “momentary hit. I’d have erased it. You’re fine.”
Moderate, almost severe turbulence, surprised the a/p didn’t disconnect, type of arrival once we got into smooth air we had it made. FOQA saw a momentary descent over 1000 FPM below 1000’ AGL. It might have been a pressure spike?
Completely different than foreign FOQA programs. Minimal threat unless you’re being dumb.
