"FO's trying to upgrade are failed almost purposely to keep the street captain program running and keep FO's flying as FO's due to NO reserve FO's company wide."
Seriously? If you show up prepared you will pass. No one is out to get you or to make failure quotas. Unfortunately people don't understand the scope of knowledge required of them when they go in for upgrade. The last FO I flew with that failed had a terrible excuse that showed he had obviously not put in the effort to be ready. I asked him a few related questions through the trip and he had no clue. Just because you have the FAA mandated experience it doesn't mean you are ready for the position.
My Captain checkride was the easiest checkride I've ever taken because it was hands down the most prepared I have ever been for a checkride. Do the work, study, take it seriously.
