I’d like to preface with the fact that I’ve backed up our flight attendants on every passenger removal we’ve facilitated. Also I wasn’t there to witness this and shoddy reporting being common place I’m not going to throw stones here and assume there is always more to the story.

I’ll just say that as a father of two and having one kid that was a serial spitter uper, it’s completely normal behavior for a well fed baby. I’m sure the crew made the the best decision they could assuming at least one of them was probably a parent to add some experience to the process.
