I ageee HighFlight. The DGI candidates haven’t been here for very long, have mostly good attitudes and are very positive typically. Most (KEYWORD MOST) double no SSPs are “woah is me,” “eff Delta eff this,” “this friggin company screwed me on this and this.” They carry a chip on their shoulder and think Delta owes them something. The DGI folks are completely different. Most are positive, and have a upbeat perspective of Delta and their future. We all moan about the company, but I’ve never heard as much as I heard from most of the double No SSPs when I flew with them. Now granted they may or may not have been this way before their SSP interview, but ever since Delta changed the rules of the game there’s been a negative stigma from those involved in the SSP, pre and post interview. Well news flash, life’s a game and it ain’t fair. Why do I think DGI will be different? Because we’re fresh to the company, fresh to Delta and know going in we have to prove ourselves, not just expect a job.
Do some of you actually think the NO/Double no pilots didn’t prep their butt off for the interview? Here is the reality for DGI. If we can’t replace you at Endeavor, the success rate will be low. Boils down to keeping the 9E operation afloat. There was no way to hire every single SSP’er...no possible way. Just look at about operation currently. Super short on Capatins...let’s make it worse by going to Delta
