If you are older in your class, sure. If you are younger expect only short time periods off between Ground/FTD/Sim. I only had two days off between ground and FTD to learn my flows followed by the oral the day after 5 straight FTD's. Talk about cramming! Ugh. Then 3 days off before the Sim. IOE started 5 days after Loft. So I felt stressed until I finished the sim. Several others in my class felt exhausted/stressed as well. Did good though. Meanwhile others in my class had a week or two off between these and thought life was golden and training was easy. lol They tell you what you need to know so don't worry about that. Just bring your A game.

You make valid points, also depends on how busy the training dept is with upgrades.

4 weeks of IOE seems like a lot. When I went through most people got two 4day trips. Maybe a 1 or 2 day trip after that if you needed a bit more acclimation to the Bus.
True, I’ve seen this done too but I think the smart move is to ask for another trip. Might as well make it take as long as possible to delay the inevitable reserve.
