8 hours in each seat is correct. You get 11 lessons in the FTD prior to the sim which allows you to learn the automation. They don’t work very well which adds to the stress. Systems is basically self taught in your hotel room after class each night. It is certainly not a course where you are spoon fed but they will give you extra training if you want it or they feel you need it. It’s a big boy course that requires a lot of work, if you think you’re going to be going out drinking beer every night you’ll be in for a big surprise. It’s not fun and it’s pretty rough but it’s doable. Good luck!
