The break between your PC and IOE should be a little vaca. After the "cram" course you need the time off. IOE is on the job training. Nobody hops in the plane and does everything perfect. Everybody is in such a big hurry. When you finally get on line you'll propably be saying you can't wait 'till your 4 day's over so you can get some time off. Slow down.
Agreed. Go home, relax with the family, and wait for your call from scheduling. I'm all for that. You need it after drinking from the firehose for two months. I guess what I'm referring to is a few guys in my class who didn't crack open the POM
at all to review anything, had 3-4 weeks off, and when their IOE came up had a tough time (days had to be added to their IOE, friction with the check airmen, etc.). I'm only basing my opinion on their experience and what my check airman told me during my IOE. Also remember that many guys have
sub 300 hours TT, so reviewing before IOE certainly couldn't hurt.
