Given the fact that the company said Boston would be first and now Orlando is the base, it proves that they don’t even think this will work, also for the person that said wouldn’t a permanent mco base also take away flying from the northern bases? Yes it would but if the company wants an Orlando base and if that supports their network better they should open one.
It would also draw away some of the senior Florida pilots that now commute to the “northern” bases so hard to say what specific effect any one base would experience.
