Some considerations for Slingboxing: If your house is wireless, be aware the Slingbox must be connected to your router via an ethernet port, which can be problematic. SB isn't wireless.
You can hook SB up to a cable box or dvr without that device being connected to a tv. That can avoid the channel changing battles.
