I don’t work for ameriflight nor do I want to but I noticed Omni has some kind of agreement with them for pilots transitioning from single pilot freight to 767. Is that like every other agreement, meant to lure in pilots for basically nothing or have some pilots made that switch? Just not sure how practical it is for someone who has only flown single pilot turboprop to a crewed wide body. It’s a huge training and experience gap and I’m curious if that’s even possible to do while maintaining your sanity and not to mention your clean record.
I believe some have made it through but I’m not sure of the exact count. It is perhaps a different kind of operation but not really that much different. The 1500 hr navy helo pilots that’s go through 757/767 initial at Delta have it a lot worse.
