I don't enjoy passing judgment. However, passing judgment needs to occur or else improvement can never happen.

The hard truth is the guys who voted down unionization the first and second time are at fault. Anyone who believed the "direct relationship" propaganda and "family culture" from the 1st year of BJ's existence are the problem. Yes, I do blame them for bringing down the first unionization attempts. Did any of these people really think that Airline X could be different than Airline A,B,C when it is a publicly traded company run by Wall Street?

So yes, they are to blame. Now that blame is assigned, the next step is to analyze how to prevent future failure. One critical step is not to accept false choices, false arguments, crisis voting, or sub-par contracts. It's not too hard to imagine what can go wrong with the upcoming contract. Don't let history repeat itself.
