I would venture there's not a single pilot at Delta who doesn't want the company to be profitable; but other than a few self-identifying exceptions, not at the expense of pilot QoL or compensation. VB will likely have some positive effect on the bottom line at DAL. I am very against VB; however, every man has his price. It's a trial right now which gives us leverage, we give the company a free taste and if they don't like it then it can die a peaceful death (my
highly preferred option), but if they want some more crack then let's not roll over for $.05/hour per diem...
