Exactly right... the 50th from the bottom 88A is 12323. Anyone VDing will use his seniority or lower, meaning they could only displace to NYC 717A, NYC 330B (maybe?), or 7ERB and lower everywhere. Not going to see many VDs with that lack of power.
Based on current list 50th from bottom ATLM88A would be 8th from bottom NYC717A, add a few for projected list. Bottom line is most of those 50 will be going back to B somewhere. Interesting and smart sequencing of the M88 drawdown. By the time it hits MSP they should all be absorbed by equivalent growth in other NB aircraft. Imagine they will draw down ATL last with the same sequencing logic. Bummer for the very junior A’s, but I think we will start to see the seniority inversion largely disappear as the M88 is replaced with 73N and 320. It will be interesting to see how many are willing to commute to NYC to hold on to an A on the C100 which will be about all that will remain as the floor rises on the shrinking M88.
