Before you get too worked up into explanations, I'm prior 9E. As far as sub-groups of delta go, I don't see how DPJ differs as they are a wholly owned subsidiary just like Endeavor. I believe that legal rights of each would be the same. And I still do not believe there is a legal requirement that every employee that wishes to apply for a position must be granted an interview before outside hiring, they just can't be restricted from applying.

As far as TechOps goes, there are mainline mechanics and DGS mechanics. TechOps already does engine work and a lot of outsourced maintenance for various entities. DGS is a catchall that has employees doing just about everything, the employees working Trainer refinery (the oil refinery in PA) are DGS. Even if they wanted to separate liability, it wouldn't require any major change at TechOps externally since in different areas there are already mainline and DGS mechanics working.
