60 sfo 777 FO’s are a lot but there are also a lot of people that want into a WB in sfo. My prediction, the most junior guy to get sfo 777 FO will be 10,500-11,000. Hope I’m wrong and goes deep into 12,000’s but guys have been waiting a long time to get a west coast WB bid.
Anyone that wanted it could’ve had it around this time two years ago. 777/787 went into the 11k’s. Nothing on either fleet has moved much with the 747 displacements moving in since then. The only ones that may want to and haven’t had a shot at it are the new hires who’ve shown up since then.
Monday should be interesting for sure (and in no way representative of the final award).
Remember too that going 777-787 or vice versa carries a bid freeze. If your number comes up for captain during that freeze, you’ll be locked out from bidding it during said freeze (if that matters to you).
