Prototypical pilot mentality. In the same month one has prioritized time off, they will complain about not being able to work enough. Pretty humorous.

Yes but if you bid the right line credit from PBS you can do a few trip trades or add just a 1/2/3 day trip and make a large chunk of change and still have the days off you wanted. Just have to bid it right so you don’t work for free.

Our lines suck enough already. Why would anyone commit to more suck, on the chance something good would show up on the fewer days off you hav due to a higher bid line value?
With PBS, the higher line value you bid the greater,the likelihood of lesser quality... Constraints and all that you know.
No you can't just trade vacation either. Doesn't quite work that way in practice.

That person has the right to bid whatever vacation they want. And who cares if someone wants to use that vacation to manipulate their schedule.
I don’t get butthurt when Atheists or people without families bid to have Christmas off and I have to work.

See that's the (former) beauty of being able to pick up and get paid for it anytime... you didn't have to commit to being at work for 16-17 days a month, just for the "privilege" of being able to pick up that odd trip every now and then. Worked good for 30 years.
