Better on the 777 but still reserve on both.
The real bummer is the pilots right on the G-Line for the 787. A lot of current RSV 787 pilots bid out and off and everyone that bid on is lineholder seniority. IF the snap shot was the award there would be a lot of junior 787 FOs pushed back into RSV for the first time in several years. If I was close to the G line I’d be looking for other options after today.

This is just the first snapshot. A lot of things will change - some will change their bid, some will pull their bid, and others will add their bid before this closes.
Edit: I just looked at my position on the 777 vs 787 and the split is 12% in favor of the 777; larger than I would have expected. 787 FO is only 3% better than SFO 320 CA for me.

What's the G-line on 787? And do you know the G-line on 777? I'm curious to see if those are much different.

The bottom captain on the snapshot is 10000 on the seniority list? That’s approximately 80th percentile.
This will be “the good old days” for many pilots.
Enjoy the ride, folks.
Hopefully this is just the first of many vacancy bids in the near term.

Only about 250 numbers from post-SLI (2013 hires) to Captain.

It’ll take 2 more years at this rate to hit your “5 year upgrade” which will be right about 7 years by that point. That’s pretty standard at a legacy, but certainly not the good old days
