I view this thread as a pleasant change from the usual threads complaining about all things United. At least this masturbatory rambling will have a happy ending. But to each their own; there are plenty of gloom and doom threads to please those that don't like this thread.

Ah ok. We have a captain in EWR on the 320 that continuously answers an interphone call from the cabin with "hello, this is your favorite captain." And he is everyone's least favorite captain. But, hey, if you say something enough times maybe you can convince yourself it's true.......

Very new to all of this...
Looking at the snapshots, I see two pilots that are in my desired base/seat trying to come to my base/seat... from what I can tell neither of them is listed in the base trade process... It looks like we'll all get what we want (these are very junior movements with lots of unfilled vacancies on each side)... but would it be smart/faster/easier to reach out to these folks to try to see if we can do a base trade, or just let the vacancy bid do its thing?
