That snack will be served on china or we will expense Ruth Chris. Your first year here will be ballpark mid 80-90, second year varies more on equipment/seniority in base/in base vs commuter. Second year NB in a junior base is anywhere from 125-150. Bigger numbers are possible but it usually entails a lot of working the system and flying ugly trips. Third year and beyond is a little hard to nail down because what you can hold equipment wise changes the money. The 737 here has some really satisfying flying and can be a real money maker.

No Johnson measuring here, isn’t that the point of a forum, the guy and other guys say they won’t make more upgrading, so it’s an open discussion of what they are ACTUALLY earning on a heavy FO position vs what guys ACTUALLY are earning as a NB CA, if you don’t like it take your little Johnson elsewhere :-)

I've picked up trips that fly to the overnight and deadhead back the next day. Fly three and get paid ten is the easiest way or at senior man, that trip would block three and pay 20 hours.

On the Airbus, I encounter plenty of trips where the block is less than the pay. Not hard to do with the 5/day or the rig kicking in.

We have a 5 hour/day minimum and a 3.5 hour trip rig (time away from base divided by 3.5). The best way to get paid more than block is to trade into or pickup the trips that are thrown together to cover lost or misconnect flying from someone else.

Had a 9.6 hour day trip last week at 100 premium , essentially a 20 hour 1 day for about 2.3 hours of block . About as good as I have ever gotten it .
