Only ask for wind check when the cross is certainly below 10kts, and your landing weight is =>500,000lbs. Those guys are the best pilots in the world...well except for the DL Navy pilot that briefs from the forward Cabin area and tells the PAX that they have 24 years of flying for the Navy AND so does the FO! So together that flight crew has 40 something YEARS OF FLYING FOR THE UNITED STATES NAVY. I am sooo impressed when I hear that one. Gotta know when you got a LANTA crew!
