Some of the incentive pay is like $500 to pick up a trip. Recently flew with a captain that said he would make $1200 a day flying a trip like that. It’s possible to make 6 figures as a first year captain. You just have to work a lot.
You also have to be at a base that has a lot of open shifts with incentive pay that matches you time off. Realistic captain pay is around 40k if you work your schedule depending on your route.
