All of those base closures still had domiciles less than 2200 NM away. Even HNL-SFO and ANC-SEA.
I'll give ShyGuy the EWR closure, but he's packed up his family and moved to Euroland, living in a Scandanavian country while commuting to Iceland to fly for Wow Air. I suppose that's an easier commute than a transcon?
