If you're simplifying it qs much as possible I would say "kind of". It also helps possibly getting a better schedule (the days off you want vs the leftovers). We are seeing more known flying to bid on as well but the days off work basically the same for those schedules.

However as far as junior manning is concerned - if you're somewhere they need a pilot you're junior now.
