You may never know who you may be interviewing with at DAL... so I applaud a person who asks any questions that may help him/her get past some eccentric "over-exaggerated perceptio" of an over the hill idiot HR (hitler reject) nazi party groupie ice hole.
Disclaimer: My statement is directed to one hr guy.... from what I understand many others have had better experiences with other HR interviewers.
It can probably happen in any interview where they are trying to see how you handle stress. It's the same as them nitpicking 10 hours in your logbook when you've got 3000 over the minimums. My guess is they do that because they want to see how you react.
