I assume you mean 5 days off between pairings, as it relates to " to the maximum extent possible"?
And again, it means nothing without "but at least twice a month" or better " but not less days off than the length of the block of work days before". I think over 90% of reserve lines are built with 6 on / 4 off, and afterwards the grid is greener than the grass on the other side of the fence. How is that for "maximum extent possible"?
I am a commuting line holder who hates reserve, so doesn't affect me, but still angers me.
