I doubt anyone 30 or younger will be too terribly disappointed with their career progression opportunities. Pending another lost decade like many of us experienced, they won't have to bare the same cross guys like you had to carry. I see this as a modest win for the industry, as well as a positive for the guys coming up and on property. It's not better, it's just a more defined millennial-approach - mentorship, handholding, helicopter parenting. Instant gratification. A different cloth by which pilots are cut.
