PSA 65 hours/month x 74/hour = 4,810
4,810 x 12 = $57,720 per year
Republic 85 hours/month x 84/hour = 7,140
7,140 x 12 = $85,680 per year
Endeavor 85 hours/month x 92/hour = 7,820
7,820 x 12 = $93,840 per year
Republic is 28,000 more per year with the same days off
Endeavor is 36,000 more per year.
And yes... a lot of people choose to fly more. Well, then you’ll just credit more with higher pay rates so the difference will be even greater.
Keep in mind that the reason why those airlines are seeing higher credit is because they PBS vs we have line bidding. By all means I am not jumping for PBS, but the purpose of it is to more use out of a crew member with their pairings and cut out the inefficiencies of line bidding by building your line around vacations, training events, etc etc. the other thing that republic has going for it are RIGs which motivates them to fly your butt off why you are work instead of seeing days with one leg.
That's the only pro I can see with PBS. But by all means, it's going going to come cheap when it comes. The company going to have to have us give us something to have take PBS on.
