In the past, when we were losing the airplanes, they were being ferried to Tuscon, AZ to be deserted (haha, get it, DESERTed).
The flight today was 9641, indeed 7171 being transferred, though. Not sure why they're using CKB, other than the fact that Heavy Checks are performed in CKB.
Yeah thats the one that came in today... its sittin out on the ramp with the rest of them. I think they are all 100 models. No comair or delta logos. Just the delta paint.
