That's correct, but I think things equal out by the time he is close to upgrading if he has no 121 time. Right now, things are out of wrack with the new bases opening up and forced upgrades forcing folks to do 2 leg commutes. But I do believe eventually, those guys will slide will be able to bid out of ORF back to CLT.Those who want to upgrade into ORF CA spots will and there has been a good number for guys/gals that are joining the company now for that ORF base.

For this gentleman, I don't see a reason why he won't be able to hold DAY, or CVG when its time for him to upgrade.
