Could not be a worse idea. Niche airlines merging is a bad idea. So far the Virgin/Alaska merger has been a failure. No one knows what anyone is doing or why they are doing it or where they are doing it or who they are doing it with......And the great sucking sound is millions of dollars leaving with no return. With the JetBlue scope a divestiture of Horizon Air and an end to the CPA flying by Skywest would be required.....Never going to happen
