The flow is a great recruiting tool when advertised at 6-7 years, that's a sweet spot for an "insurance" plan. If your limit idea of a "major" is limited to the current Big 6 the flow might be a good option. If those 10 year captains would consider the ULCCs, which are starting to improve their contracts, they could probably move on up.

We trippled our pilot group and barely doubled flow. I'm a third of the way up the seniority list and 5 years to flow is only realistic if the flow doubles again to 20/month. Whatever we do to fix this the pilot group should get a vote.
