Keep in mind, it's not like you're going to start at year CA at another regional after making a lateral move.
If one moves on from PSA right before they upgrade and let's say go to Republic. You'll starting off at year 1 and resetting the clock. By the time one upgrades Republic, one should be holding a line as a CA here as a Captain.

The idea is to never fly for a regional ever again. I will fly rubber dog **** to Hong Kong on some clapped out freighter before going to another regional. There are others who would do the same.
